Cardiff is the capital of Wales. Despite being 2 hours from London, Cardiff has a reputation as one of Europe’s undiscovered capitals, but that is rapidly changes as the city gains popularity with tourists interested in Wales and Welsh culture.

This guide will cover all the photography hotspots within the city and county of Cardiff as well as neighbouring counties – the Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, and Newport. All of the spots within the guide are accessible within a one hour drive from Cardiff and includes castles, bridges, seascapes, landscapes, tourist attractions and scenic viewpoints.
