For me most valuable and incredible experience is the visit to the observation deck at Burj Khalifa. This majestic building will literally bring you to the skies with a 360-degree city view when the light is on your side. You can choose from two decks at either 456 m or 555 m. Your journey begins when you step into the At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY lounge, from where you will be personally escorted to a dedicated elevator. From the deck you’ll see the 7-star hotel Burj Al Arab and the marina panorama. From the other side you have views of Sheik Zayed road and several of the tallest skyscrapers.

Visit Dubai at any time of year except summer for an incredible experience. Summer time is very hot there; spring or autumn season are more enjoyable. It’s popular, so expect lots of tourists, but Dubai is a safe city with amazing things to do. Traffic is heavy in Dubai, so your best option is to take a taxi; most companies are government-owned. Otherwise use public the transport system which, in my opinion, is one of the best in the world.

About The Author

Marek Kijevský

My name is Marek Kijevský. I am from Slovakia, but I live in Prague, Czech republic several years. I have always loved photography, but I have started to learn about photography since I bought my first DLSR in 2009. I didn’t know anything about it, so I started to take photos occasionally when I had little bit of time. I really loved macro photography especially butterflies and dragonflies, but it was limited to summer time period. My full passion for photography came, when I was in Dubai in 2013. This visit changed my view at photography and gave me new direction (cityscape and landscape photography ) of my photography passion . Firstly I tried HDR post-processing in my images, but I didn’t like “synthetic” look of colors and lights. I found my inspiration in a technique of Digital Blending, which obtain maximum dynamic range through manually blending multiple bracketed exposures. Sometimes I am trying to try some new processing techniques, but mostly I am “loyal” to Digital Blending. I hope I will be able to find new points of view and places to bring fans and viewers my interpretation of new amazing places around the world.
